About Andrew

Andrew is a fourth generation Munsonian. His great-grandfather, George R. Dale, served as Mayor of Muncie and was a champion who fought tirelessly against local municipal corruption and the Ku Klux Klan of the 1920s and 1930s. Andrew’s great uncle, Lester Holloway, also served as Mayor of Muncie after World War II.

Andrew served as Community Development Director under Muncie mayors David Dominick and Dan Canan and as Director of Community Affairs and Director of Economic Development for the City of York, Pennsylvania.

Since graduating from Ball State University in 1990, Andrew has applied his passion for effective communication, organizational leadership, people-centered design, and life-long learning to his work with others. He provides business development and project management consulting services. He is the co-founder of the Shafer Leadership Academy and currently serves on the board of directors for Masterworks Chorale and the Whitely Community Council.

Andrew is married to the Reverend Ramona Dale, pastor of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, and is the father of Elijah, Noah, David and Grace.
